Spring Creek UD NNO Recap

October 30, 2025 12:53 pm

Spring Creek Utility District (SCUD) Board of Directors would like to thank all vendors and residents for their participation in National Night Out this year!

Special thanks to the fire department and police officers who came out and interacted with the public, you are the reason we do this!

The night kicked off great with the DJ, free food, and bounce houses, followed by the face painter and balloon artists who were making a special night for the kids!

The trackless train was a big hit as always, taking rides around the lake.

Quiz Winners!

We had a quiz designed to encourage our residents to talk with our first responders and the district operators and/or representatives. A drawing among the participants who correctly answered all questions was made at the conclusion of the night and 3 winners were chosen:

  • Nick Pierce
  • Julie Vela
  • Dennis Hoholik

They each received a $50.00 credit to their next water bill. Congratulations!

Here are the 4 questions that were in the quiz and the correct answers:

  • How many Precinct 3 officers are under contract to patrol the district per the current agreement between Montgomery County and the Spring Creek Utility District?

    7

  • Who is the officer directly in charge of the constables patrolling the district?

  • What is the current Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating for the South Montgomery County Fire Department?
